Our Purpose

­­­The internet is great, but it’s not perfect.

So many sites are trying to addict you to their content. So many people are trying to make you angry with their content. So many social media apps will allow everyone to see all types of content, or worse - they’ll allow complete strangers to interact with you or your kids.

It can feel like everyone in the world has a megaphone… and even though you might not know who they are, they’re able to enter your world and affect it. It doesn’t have to be that way.

Everyone should have the power to control the content they come in contact with – wherever they are. We call this power "Media Wellness" and it is our purpose. To support our purpose, our vision is to create a social enterprise with the mission to give people more control over the content they see everyday.

This means people should have more control over the types of content that travel on their networks... without having to see it first. You and your kids should feel safer online... not only from pornography or bad language, but from points of view and content that is coming from people with agendas that aren’t aligned with your own. We imagine tools that allow us to understand and control the content that uses our private networks to spread.

Who We Are

We’ve spent decades creating sites and apps for some of the biggest organizations in the world.  Now we want to create something for the world.  Blox-Box is a DNS server that gives you more control over the content on your network, by blocking out sites that you’d rather not see - for everyone across your network.  We’re launching this product now because something isn’t right with how the internet is affecting our daily lives.  You should have more control over what you see - and what your family sees - on your network.  Blox-Box gives you that control.
